ACPA’s 2006 Annual Conference was held in Adelaide on 9 to 11 August 2006. The Annual Conference is an opportunity for members to meet up with Catholic colleagues from around Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific to discuss issues that are of common interest. The Conference is also an opportunity to make new contacts and to share in the camaraderie of the Association. At this year's Annual Conference, Nicholas Kerr was made a Life Member of ACPA.The winners of the 2006 ACPA Awards were announced at this year's Annual Conference in Adelaide. The ACPA Awards are proudly sponsored by Catholic Church Insurances Ltd. The premier awards are the Bishop Phillip Kennedy Memorial Prize for Newspapers and the Bishop Phillip Kennedy Memorial Prize for Magazines.
