The Australasian Catholic Press Association (ACPA) was established in 1956 to promote harmony and co-operation among members of the Catholic press and with other Catholic and ecumenical associations, to promote the advancement of the religious press and the religious media.

ACPA aims to promote the principles and practices set out in the Second Vatican Council's decree on the mass media and in subsequent social instructions on the mass media.

ACPA has 114 members throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.

Full membership of ACPA is open to Catholic newspapers, magazines, newsletters and online journals produced in Australasia.

Associate membership is available to people working in Catholic print and publishing media, press and information officers working for Catholic organisations, and Catholics working in professional non-Catholic print and publishing media.

To inquire about ACPA membership contact the Secretary, Fiona Lewis
